Making a Blog in Photoshop

My Blog Effects tutorial didn? really help much and since I know how it feels to go to this tutorial that is titled Making a Blog and then you find out that it? more effects, I decided to make a better tutorial.

1. Open the image you want to make into a blog. I? going to be using this one:

2. Make a new layer by clicking this icon:

3. Now, use the Rectangle Tool (Press U). The Rectangle Tool looks like this:

4. Draw a box on your image. Make sure it doesn? cover the main person? face or else it?l look weird and unattractive. Your image should now look like this:

5. Don? worry. The steps are still easy as ever. Go to the part where it says Opacity and lower it to whatever you want. I lowered mine to 50.

Your iamge should now look like this:
You can add whatever you want: text, effects, brushes, stroke etc.
