Making an Action

Now, click the arrow on the top right hand corner of the actions window and select New Set

Name it what you would like or leave it as the default, and click OK This will bring up a folder that your action will go in.

Next, click the arrow on the top right hand corner again, and this time select New Action

Name it what you would like and then select Record

Now begin to make your action. To do this, simply work as you normally would. Photoshop will automatically record everything you do.

If you make a mistake, press stop (the sqaure along the bottom), select the step you dont want, and click on the trash can. Then click Begin Recording (the circle) and it will resume recording.

When you are finished, press the stop button;

To save your action, select the Set (that you created at the very beginning) click the arrow again, and then go to Save Actions.
